As one of the most dependable character actors in Philippine television and cinema, Dimples Romana has always managed to stand out with her big talent.
She has played notable supporting roles in hit movies like Dubai, Pacquiao:The Movie, Wag Kang Lilingon, One More Chance, When Love Begins and Love Me Again. In television, she played supporting roles from the late 90s through the early 2000s in the hit series Esperanza, Tabing Ilog, Ang Panday and Only You.
Dimples’ biggest break in television came, however, when she portayed the infamous Criselda Barrameda in Agua Bendita. But while she was able to play a convincing antagonist in the said series, she also proved just as competent playing benevolent leads in And I Love You So and the remake of Mara Clara.
Her talent in hosting, which she initially showcased in 2002 as a courtside reporter for the UAAP, has also opened opportunities for her as lead presentor in shows like I-Shine Talent Camp, Swak na Swak and TFC Connect.
Dimples will soon be seen playing one of the leads in the much-awaited family-oriented soap, The Greatest Love.
