Paul and Jenny eloped at the tender age of 17. As expected, both had to adjust to a different lifestyle and tolerate each other's quirks. But despite these hardships, they manage to triumph over their difficulties. Paul becomes a real estate broker while Jenny runs a successful restaurant. It is when they become rich that trouble starts. Paul's family meddles in their married life and expects Paul to be at their beck and call. Jenny also has to contend with a liberated mother who advocates a radical lifestyle. Things eventually take its toll as Paul's sister Sylvia (Cherrie Gil) schemes to separate them. Jenny is no pushover either and the two clash head-on. When the situation becomes intolerable, who will Paul side with? Will his loyalty to his family overshadow his love for his wife? What will it take for Paul and Jenny to realize they are really meant for each other?
